Bank Robbery In Monaghan

The incidehnt occurred at the Ulster Bank in Castleblaney at around five past five yesterday evening.

Two men used a small white van to gain access to the premises.

They drove the  vehicle into the front window of the bank and snatched a box containing cash which was being loaded into the bank's ATM machine.

They left the scene in the direction of Carrickmacross.

Nobody was injured during the incident and Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
