AshleyMadison.com was targeted by a group calling itself Impact Team last month.
It threatened to publish the data unless the website was taken down.

Journalist and security expert Hannah Kuchler says lives could be destroyed.
“You can always check your credit and claim that things are fraudulent charges – but you can't get your reputation back” she said.
“And if people are found with their names on this list, especially famous people, they're going to be damaged forever” she added.
