A group of 20 Defence Forces personnel is collecting a Lotto prize worth nearly half a million euro today.
The army syndicate, based in Kilkenny, will be marching in to National Lottery headquarters this afternoon to collect their winnings.

The soldiers matched 5 numbers and the bonus to win a prize worth nearly 453 thousand euro.
It's the biggest prize won to date in this Lotto prize category.
