Speaking in Knock this afternoon – Archbishop Eamon Martin said he has received several messages since the decision to give same sex couples the right to marry.
Archbishop Martin says some of those accused the Church of not doing enough to stop the amendment while others said the organisation is out of touch with the people.

The Archbishop says the Catholic Church is faced by many challenges and should not be daunted by this – saying there is much work to be done.
