Plans for a vehicle salvage yard in North Tipperary have been submitted to the local authority.
The proposals for the Nenagh area also include a car sales facility.
Nenagh based SDSI Ltd hope to develop a compound for end of life vehicles together with storage for second hand & accident damaged cars.
If approved by Tipperary County Council the site at Kilkeary, Ballinaclough would also be home to a second hand car sales area to the front of the property.
Staff and customer car parking areas are all included in the plans put forward by the company.
The works would entail the conversions of stables to an office together with the demolition of a dwelling house, stables, an agricultural barn and other outbuildings which would be replaced by storage buildings.
A petrol interceptor to the rear of the site, external floodlighting and a stone boundary wall are all mentioned as part of the planned development.
A decision from the planning department on the application by Salvage Direct Southern Ireland is due in early September.
