Appeals lodged against two Tipperary planning decisions

A telecommunications company has appealed two planning decisions in County Tipperary to An Bord Pleanala.

Vodafone Ireland was granted permission by North Tipp County Council for a 36 metre high mast at Borris, Two Mile Borris.

Permission was also granted by Clonmel Borough Council for a 24 metre high structure at Powerstown Racecourse in the town.

However the company has decided to appeal the conditions attached to both planning decisions.

Both appeals are due to be decided by mid-July.
