Archai Resources Ltd had sought permission for the development at Upper Ormond, Kilnanaeve, Nenagh.
Their plans included 4 wind turbines, an electrical substation and a meteorological mast covering the townslands of Ballyconnor, Tiermoyle, Knockacraheen and Millbrook.

The local authority decided not to grant permission due to the visual impact of the development.
Archai Resources have now appealed this decision to An bord Pleanala who are due to rule by mid-October.
