The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is warning that donations are urgently needed as blood supplies are low.

Clinics will be open on Saturday and Sunday – and anyone who wishes to donate can check the website www.giveblood.ie to find their nearest location.
Blood-donation clinics will be held at Ballykisteen Hotel in Limerick Junction on Monday and Tuesday next from 6 to 9pm each evening.
