Tipperary blood donors are being urged to attend a clinic in Tipp Town this evening.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service says the recent severe weather events and high levels of respiratory illness in circulation has meant it’s collections are way down this year.

The IBTS also says demand is soaring with almost 128-thousand-500 blood donation unit needed in hospitals last year which was the highest in over a decade
They are looking for new younger donors of all ethnicities – specially anyone with African heritage to attend at Ballykisteen Hotel from 4.50pm to 8.10 pm.
