Annual budget to be discussed at local authority meeting.

Tipperary County Council will set a date today for its first annual budget.

The local authority is due to confirm a date for its budget meeting next month at its October meeting this morning.

It will be the first time that the local authority will be deciding on a county-wide budget as in previous years, it was divided into North and South.

The 40 elected members together with County CEO Joe McGrath and officials will meet at 11 o'clock this morning at the Council Chambers in Clonmel.
