Fethard Gardaí are investigating a disturbing incident which occurred over the weekend.
A sheep was found dead by its owner in the Moyglass area on Saturday evening.
The animal had what Gardaí describe as ‘blunt force’ trauma to the head.
Gardai are issuing an appeal for any witnesses or people with information to contact Clonmel Garda Station on 052 6177640.
