Amnesty International says Yezidi women and girls who have been enslaved, raped, beaten and otherwise tortured by Islamic State are being failed by a lack of adequate support from the international community.
Since IS fighters attacked the Sinjar region in north-western Iraq in August 2014, thousands of Yezidis have been abducted.
Hundreds of men and boys have been massacred, while women and girls are subjected to sex crimes.
Some women and girls escaped or were released after payment of ransom by their families.
Colm O'Gorman, Executive Director of Amnesty International Ireland, says they need support after the horrific abuse they suffered.
