The ESB has increased its staff numbers by six fold in Tipperary in an effort to restore every single home and business still without power.
As of yesterday evening there were just 300 customers yet to be reconnected with most of them back on the grid by this morning.
The electricity company is now tackling the areas where there are less than two faults on the line.
It’s also reminding people that all ESB staff and contractors carry an official ID to prove they are working for the electricity company.

It's emerged that Tipperary water donated thousands of bottled mineral water to families left without power and drinking water due to last week's storms.
The Red Cross says its volunteers distributed 4 and a half thousand litres to homes in the worst affected areas here in the county as well as in Cork Clare and Limerick over the weekend.
A spokesperson for the charity says Tipperary Water was keen to do its part after witnessing the predicament of the families hit worst by the recent spate of bad weather.
