Airport Chief set to depart Shannon

In a statement – Chairman Rose Hynes said Mr Pakey played a key role in leading the team in the rebirth of the Mid West airport and during his tenure many milestones have been achieved.

The airport has returned to growth following five years of successive decline and by the end of this year, the numbers will be up by 22 percent.

Ms Hynes has thanked the CEO for his vital contribution adding he will leave in June with Shannon Group on a very positive footing, primed for growth.
