Tipperary County Council has granted permission for major works at Arrabawn Co-op in Nenagh.

The project will see a three year €30 million investment transform the site into a world-class manufacturing facility.

It will double capacity at the plant, delivering up to 20 new jobs in the process, as Arrabawn increases its employment levels at the plant to 100.

Local TD Alan Kelly welcomed the news.
