Tipperary to receive significant funding to support agricultural shows

Over €1 million has been allocated to support 123 Agricultural Shows nationwide, with Tipperary receiving significant funding.

Clonmel Agricultural Show gets €10,000, Dualla €4,700, Bansha €8,350, Cappamore €9,205, and North Tipperary €8,350.

The grants will help show committees prepare for the 2025 season. Since 2018, over €5.3 million has been invested in agricultural shows across the country.

Local TD Micheal Murphy outlines the benefit this will have for Tipperary

 

“Agricultural shows are an event that many of us very much look forward to and are key events in the agricultural calendar. So really looking forward to attending as many of these shows throughout 2025.”
