Tipp farmers unhappy with beef talks outcome

Farmers in the Premier County say talks held to discuss farming in Ireland were an exercise in PR.

The comments follow the conclusion of talks between members of the Beef Plan Movement and representatives of the Department of Agriculture.

There were 13 topics up for discussion however the price of beef was not one of them.

Speaking on Tipp Today this morning Tipp Chair of the Beef Plan Movement Joe Trehy said they will decide where to go from here.
