Significant funding approved for local agri-tourism projects

There’s been a broad welcome for significant funding approved for local agri-food tourism projects.

There are 3 Tipperary ventures among the 22 to be funded across the country.

The overall tranche nationally is €300,000 of which the Premier County is getting €30,000.

Each of the local groups will receive €10,000.

They are Tipperary Food Producers Network to promote Food Tourism development, Ailbhe Gerard of Field Exchange, Nenagh for a Food and Craft Festival and Tipperary County Council’s Destination Lough Derg project.
