50-million Euro fund passes 2-thousand farmers milestone

A 50-million Euro fund based in Tipperary town has passed a significant milestone with 2-thousand farmers signing up for it.

The ‘Farming for Water’ European Innovation Partnership is run by LAWPRO out of the local headquarters and aims to help farmers improve water quality.

The idea is to pay out the 50-million to about 15-thousand farmers over five years to fund targeted practical measures on their land to protect local rivers.
