Age Action calls for reversal of cuts to elderly

That's according to Age Action who say many older people have seen their weekly income cut by more than 13 euro since 2009.

It come as the results of a global AgeWatch Index shows a slight drop in Ireland's score – but Age Action says our rise in the global index is not a result of improved conditions here, but of poorer results for other countries.

Justin Moran from the charity says that older people are struggling to make ends meet.
