Talks underway over affordable housing in Clonmel

Talks are still taking place with local developers to see if they are interested in building affordable housing in Clonmel.

Tipperary County Council is try to get a scheme up and running to provide up to 30 homes for local people below market prices

The plan is to get up to three builders to sign up to provide up to ten affordable homes each in different parts of the town.

New Director of Services for Housing Jonathon Cooney has meet with local companies recently to see if they will get on board.
