Tipperary passengers due to travel from Shannon to Boston with Aer Lingus this afternoon are being warned the 12.40 flight has been cancelled.

Aer Lingus has issued a statement to alert intending passengers of the cancellation of flight EI 135, due to a technical issue.

The company is also apologising for any inconvenience caused – and says affected customers can instead opt to depart tomorrow evening at 6pm, apply for a refund or rebook an alternative Aer Lingus flight free of charge.
