According to Minister of State Alan Kelly North Tipperary will receive an additional €171½ thousand and South Tipperary an additional €227½ thousand.

This is the first tranche of funding to be released under the three-year €50 million energy efficiency programme for local authority homes under Housing Minister, Jan O’Sullivan.

Announcing the news, Minister Kelly said the funding would mean more efficient housing stock and cheaper energy bills for residents of local authority housing.
