ABP Group Managing Director Finbarr McDonnell has also told the Fine Gael T.D that a further investment is to be made in the Munster Proteins plant in Cahir which will commence shortly.

ABP have also confirmed the purchase of the PAL factory in Tipperary Town – they see the plant as a valuable asset to the group as its location is strategic to their supply chain.

Tom Hayes hopes the purchase of the PAL site will bring employment in the near future and herald a new beginning for Tipperary town.
