Over three million euro worth of cannabis was discovered in Meath – while in Cork cannabis worth 110 thousand euro was found following a planned search of a house in Douglas.
In Meath – four men have been arrested following the seizure of 160 kilos of cannabis herb.
The drugs worth over three million euro were discovered after several cars were stopped and searched in Ashbourne yesterday afternoon – while officers also raided a business premises.
The men – aged of 25 and 61 – are being questioned at Finglas and Kells Garda Stations.
Meanwhile Gardaí from the Cork Divisional Drug Unit have seized 5.5 kilos of cannabis herb worth 110 thousand euro at a house in Cogan's Cottages, Ballinlough Road, Douglas.
Two men – one in his 30's and one in his 50's – were arrested at the scene and are being held at Anglesea Street Garda station.
