12-hundred local homes and businesses in north Tipperary will be without safe drinking water for the Easter weekend.
A Boil Water Notice remains in place on the Rathcabbin public supply.

It was issued almost two weeks ago due to high levels of turbidity in the source and it had been hoped it would be lifted this week.
But local Cllr Michael O’Meara says it looks like it’ll be in place until at least next week some time:
“The local boil water will be in place for the forseeable future, that’s what Irish Water have said.”
