35 children die after measles outbreak in Europe

35 children have died across Europe after an outbreak of measles.

The World Health Organisation says its very concerned at the high numbers and has called on parents to make sure their children are vaccinated.

There’s been two deaths in Italy in the last month alone, the most recent was a 6 year old boy.

Portugal, Germany and Romania have also recorded deaths from measles.

The W.H.O says the virus is a leading cause of death among children worldwide.
