2 in court over Limerick stabbing

26-year-old John Bardon, of Catherine Street, and 24-year-old Craig McMahon of Parnell Street were charged with engaging in violent disorder by using or threatening to use unlawful violence putting a person in fear of their safety.

The victim underwent surgery at Galway University Hospital to have a knife removed from his face after the attack on Parnell Street in Limerick, on March 16th last.

Both men were granted free legal aid and remanded on a number of strict bail conditions until they appear in court again on June 18th.
