The 26 Mountains 2 Mayo Challenge is coming to Tipperary

Tipperary’s highest peak is among the climbs included in the “26 Mountains 2 Mayo Challenge” in aid of the Cancer Fund for Children.

A team of 20 business leaders from across the island of Ireland, the UK and the USA aim to climb the highest point in every county with the aim of raising €1 million for the charity.

It empowers, connects and strengthens children, young people and families impacted by cancer.

From June 7th to 15th the group will climb the highest point in each county across Ireland.

They start with Errigal in Donegal and finish up with Mweelrea in Mayo.

Along the way they will tackle the Knockmealdown Mountains on Day 6 which is Thursday 12th June and Galtymore the following day on Friday 13th.
