22 objections have now been made against two wind turbines
that are being planned for South Tipperary.
The development, in Dangan, Ballyporeen is located a mile outside the village.
The appplication is for the erection of two 660Kw wind turbines with a
height of 65 metres along with the construction of a sub station.
The applicant is Mr Denis English and was received by
South Tipperary County Council on May 30th.
Locals opposed to the plans claim that the actual height of the development will be almost 20 meters
more than stated and expressed concern about its proximity to local
dwellings.
A decision on the outcome will be made known on July 24.
