Today's tremor comes just two weeks after more than 8,000 people were killed in a massive quake just two weeks ago.
The US Geological Survey has upgraded today's quake – which struck at lunchtime local time from 7.1 to 7.3 magnitude.

It hit near Mount Everest, and was measured at a shallow depth of about 12 miles.
