The single-car incident happened sometime between the hours of 12 midnight and 2pm yesterday afternoon, on the Carbury to Edenderry Road.
The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Naas General Hospital.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who traveled the R402 between Carbury and Edenderry during the hours of 12 midnight and 2pm yesterday, to contact them at Leixlip Garda Station.
