Jennifer Byrne from Offaly is the 2017 International Rose of Tralee.
The 24 year old doctor works in the Emergency Department at University Hospital Galway.
The Offaly woman impressed in Tralee with her Irish dancing skills, and is also a high achiever in sports.
She played for Ireland in soccer at under age level, and won an All Ireland football medal for her mother’s county of Westmeath.
