Visiting restrictions in place at University Hospital Limerick

Visiting restrictions remain in place at University Hospital Limerick this morning, due to 11 confirmed cases of flu.

The Dooradoyle hospital, which serves North Tipp, has said there are a number of other patients symptomatic.

One person per patient only is permitted to visit during official visiting hours – between 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm

People with flu-like symptoms are advised to contact their GP by phone in the first instance and avoid presenting at the Emergency Department at UHL.
