Visiting restrictions at Clonmel Hospital

Tipperary University Hospital has been hit with an outbreak of Covid-19

Management at the Clonmel facility say two medical wards are currently affected.

As a result all visiting to Medical 2A & Medical 2B is suspended from today until further notice.

There are some exceptions including end of life and critically ill patients – arrangements should be made with the Clinical Nurse Managers

The hospital outbreak management team is currently monitoring the situation daily.
