Upperchurch Drombane through to Mid Football final

Upperchurch Drombane are through to this years Mid senior football final after they defeated Drom Inch in a tight game at Littleton last night.

Liam Ryan hit an early goal for Drom to put them in the driving seat but a Ger Grant goal for the Church saw them 1-10 to 1-7 ahead at the break.

In a hard fought second half Upperchurch stayed ahead and won in the end on a 1-14 to 1-12 scoreline.

They will now meet reigning champions Loughmore Castleiney in the Mid final on September 9th.
