Tipp’s Slevin defeats world number 13 in good run on PDC ProTour

There was a big win on the PDC ProTour for Tipperary’s Dylan Slevin today.

The Borrisokane man is in Leicester competing in the 5th players championship event of the year.

The 22-year-old was drawn in the first round against world number 13 Danny Noppert.

Slevin beat the Dutchman 6-5, averaging over 95, to book his place in the second round, where he beat England’s Tom Bissell 6-2, averaging just under 98.

The Tipp man made it into the last 32 where he was beaten 6-2 by 11-time major champion James Wade.
