A Tipperary player has been named Munster GAA minor hurler of the year.
Durlas Óg club man Euan Murray has won the award for his performances with James Woodlock’s side as the Premier won the Munster minor hurling title this year before going on to beat Kilkenny in a memorable All-Ireland final.
The award comes as the Thurles native, who will be eligible for the Minor grade again next year, has already been named the Electric Ireland Minor Hurling Player of the Year.
Murray will receive his award at Saturday night’s Munster GAA Awards at the Fota Island Resort, Co. Cork.
Limerick goalkeeper Nickie Quaid has been named Munster hurler of the year whilst Cork club Sarsfields were named Munster club of the year.
