Cahir duo Aisling McCarthy & Aishling Moloney have both received the honour for the first time ever, with Aileen Gilroy of Mayo the other Irish player in the 21-player squad.

Aisling McCarthy starred for her new team the Fremantle Dockers this season whilst Aishling Moloney ended her second year with the Geelong Cats as joint top goalscorer in the regular season.

They now join former Tipp ladies football teammate Orla O’Dwyer as the only Tipperary natives to be named to an All-Australian squad.
