Tipperary’s Sharlene Mawdsley will be targeting another European medal this evening.

The Newport AC woman is in Apeldoorn in The Netherlands, representing Ireland at the European Indoor Championships.

Mawdsley will be competing in the Mixed 4x400m relay final, aiming to add an indoor European medal to the two outdoor ones she won last summer in Rome.

That race is set to get underway tonight at 8.52pm Irish time.
