A Tipperary woman will lead Ireland out for their Women’s Six Nations opener this weekend.
Tipp Town native Amee-Leigh Costigan has been named captain for Ireland’s meeting with France on Saturday at 1pm in Kingspan Stadium.
The Olympian and sevens star will earn her 14th cap and lines out on the wing for Scott Bemand’s side.
Fethard’s Dorothy Wall is also in the starting fifteen and lines out in the second row for her 33rd international cap.
