Brian Gleeson has been named to start for Munster in the Champions Cup for the first time ever.
The Loughmore native has missed time through injury throughout 2024 but will make his first appearance of the season on Friday evening in France against Castres.
The 20-year-old lines out at number eight whilst New Inn’s Diarmuid Barron is among the replacements.
In all there is six changes from the team that beat Stade Francais with captain Tadhg Beirne, Niall Scannell, Stephen Archer, John Hodnett and Mike Haley also coming into the side.
Kick-off in France on Friday is at 8pm.
