Tipperary’s Brian Gleeson added to Ireland training squad

Tipperary’s Brian Gleeson has been added to the Ireland men’s rugby training squad.

The Loughmore native will link up with Paul O’Connell’s side at the IRFU High Performance Centre ahead of July’s games against Georgia and Portugal.

Gleeson comes in to replace Ulster’s James McNabney who suffered an unfortunate ACL injury in training.

The 21-year-old Tipp man, along with four other training panelists will train with the squad today and next week before the 32-player panel heads to Georgia on July 2nd.
