It was a good opening day for Tipperary trainers at the Galway Festival last evening.

Joseph O’Brien took the opener with 4/9 favourite Le Richebourg.

Killenaule trainer Andy Slattery saddled 14/1 shot Spiorad Saoirse to victory in the EBF Maiden while Moyne based Timothy Doyle sent out Dinky Inty to take the 7.05 at odds of 12/1.
