Tipperary Rose of Tralee to be picked tonight

Tipperary’s Rose of Tralee representative for 2017 will be chosen this evening.

23 contestants have put their name forward to succeed Fiona O’Sullivan who flew the flag for the Premier County last year.

The winner will represent County Tipperary in the extended International Rose of Tralee festival this August.

Event co-ordinator Ciaran O’Connell says the Roses have a busy day ahead of the selection event in the Anner Hotel in Thurles this evening.
