Tipperary County Council have advised that the L2160 Shallee road to Newport is now closed due to the adverse weather conditions.
Compacted snow has left routes around Cahir, Roscrea and Nenagh very slippery.

Routes around Clonmel Town and Thurles are very bad due to heavy snowfall also, with the N76 particularly slippery between Clonmel and Kilkenny.
A number of roads in the south of the county are also closed or impassable…
The R668 at The Vee, Clogheen, the L3409 Bohernagore to the Vee Road, the L3402 from Ballyporeen to Araglen, the L-3502 New Line at Newcastle
and the L-3503 Mellery road from Newcastle.
