Tipperary people urged to march to highlight horse cruelty

Tipperary people are being called on to support a march highlighting horse cruelty on October 4th.

The Action for Animal Welfare Group will march on Leinster House to raise awareness of the ongoing cruelty to animals, and will call on the Government to provide horse wardens to each county.

It comes following the discovery of yet another dead horse in the Premier county yesterday.

The animal was found with its legs tied together, and tied to a fence in Newport – Gardai are investigating the incident.
