Tipperary nursery say jobs at risk following Ophelia

Storm Ophelia may have a lasting impact for many people in Tipperary, in particular for Annaveigh Plants in New Inn.

They employ around 20 people, in what’s one of the largest wholesale tree nurseries in the country.

However, much of their young tree crop was destroyed during the storm, putting jobs at risk.

One of the owners Grainne Murphy, spoke to Tipp FM’s Sarah O’ Dwyer about the devastation their business has suffered.
