Tipperary look set to travel to Cavan for relegation battle

Tipperary Ladies footballers look set to travel to Cavan on Sunday for their relegation battle.

The game had originally been fixed for Saturday in a neutral venue, but that clashed with Tipp’s All Ireland senior camogie semi final with Cork.

That would have meant that Orla O’ Dwyer, as a dual player, would have to choose between both.

It’s not the first time this year Tipperary were down to play both codes on the one day – and earlier in the summer Orla O’Dwyer had to play two games on the trot.

Cavan have offered to change the game to Sunday on the condition it’s in a Cavan venue, something Tipperary are not happy about.
