Fianna Fáil’s general election candidate in Tipperary South believes she has the experience to deliver for the county in the Dáil.
Imelda Goldsboro toured the constituency with party leader Micheál Martin yesterday.
She has been a member of Tipperary County Council for 11 years having topped the poll in the last two local elections.
Based in Slieveardagh, Imelda says coming from a farming community with three teenage children means she knows the day-to-day struggles people face:
“I’m somebody that lives in the real world that deals with the issues that are going on in everyday peoples lives and in their jobs. I’m out in the community – I work an awful lot with different community groups and organisations and as anyone that does know me knows I do work very hard.”
